A day of live music where the streets of Stonnington come alive with the joy of music,

When every corner, park, and public space resonates with melodies, and when the community unites to celebrate the universal language of music.

This is the vision of “Make Music Day” on 

, our local rendition of “FÊTE de la Musique” or ‘World Music Day’,

inspired by the global tradition that began in France in 1982 and has since spread to 120 countries.

It’s a day when anyone and everyone, regardless of age or skill level, is encouraged to share the gift of music with their community.

Musicians of all backgrounds gather in public spaces, streets, and parks to play their hearts out, not for payment, but for the sheerlove of music.
